Life can be hard, and we all need a boost now and again — just a reminder that the cares of the day will ultimately be resolved. In this Spirit, Project Goodwill was born.
Jay and M are childhood friends who just turned fifty (well one of us is fifty the other is 49.86) They are embarking on a week tour of wherever Greyhound’s next departure takes them.
The plan is simple — start the day by praying that God will lead them to people who need help, a bit of encouragement, or a little uplift. And then see where that leads.
The travel plan is simpler. Show up at the greyhound station and take the next bus — wherever that bus is headed. Oh, and if there is an intervening stop that sounds more interesting, just hop off.
Prayer, random travel, and no luggage makes for an interesting trip.
“And my God will meet all of your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
